The department of Orthodontics is established in two sections.
1. Undergraduate.
2. Post graduate department.

1. Undergraduate department have following Facilities –

A. 12 electrical Dental chairs with all necessary equipments 7 instruments required for Orthodontic treatment.

B. A separate preclinical laboratory for technique class with granite top tables with facilities of LPG connections.

2. Post graduate department have following facilities:

I. Clinical area having six electrical chairs with separate instruments trolleys.

II. Separate plaster rooms having Hydro solder welders, Typodent teeth set with all required equipments for acrylic section.

III. Seminar room having Computer & LCD projector.

IV. Computer room & Photography room patient’s record and Maintenance.

V. Separate PG room, well furnished, with department library, Student lockers and Tracing tables facilities.

VI. Separate patients record room & store room having Pre & Post record of modern & radiographs.

VII. Well furnished professor, reader, lecturer room.

VIII. Department museum having teaching materials like Cds’, Models appliances & various charts.

This clinical department has been established in three different sections.

1) Undergraduate section with fully equipped 26 dental chairs.

2) Postgraduate section with fully equipped 6 dental chairs, and a separate surgical section, research room and pre clinical plaster and casting room.

3) Pre – clinical conservative laboratory for undergraduate students is separately established.

We are very proud about the quality of root canal treatment carried out in the department. Bleaching and other esthetic treatments are also routinely done.

Postgraduate course has been already awarded on this department.

We have RVG, X – ray machine, Obtura technique, Ultrasonic instruments, pulp tester, apex locators, glass bead sterilizer and rotary root canal instrument kit in our P. G. Section.

Our seminar room is equipped with LCD projector. Lectures are conducted on LCD by latest audiovisual methods. We have many educational charts and models in the departments.

The department of Prosthodontics is established in three sections.
01- Under graduate section

03- Proposed post graduation section

Under graduate pre clinical section has following facilities-

A. Separate pre clinical and dental material laboratory with granite top tables with facilities of LPG connections. Separate plaster room is available with necessary instruments and equipments.

02 Undergraduate clinical department has following facilities.

A) 20 electrical dental chairs with all necessary equipments and instruments required for modern dental treatment.

B) Under graduate clinical section is provided with separate clinical laboratory with acrylic section, Metallic section, and ceramic section.

03) Dental material science laboratory has been fully established with latest dental materials available for manipulation and study.

Specialized equipments like Hanau Articulators and Face bows are available in the department. Implant Kit with Physio dispenser is available.

Available treatment: Complete Denture treatment, Partial Dental Denture treatment, Crown and bridge treatment. Implant treatments with superstructure. Prosthetic replacement after Cancer surgery.

Deparment has 20 Dental chairs and units with all necessary instruments and equipments. Department has ultrasonic scaler units for carrying out oral prophylaxis. Necessary instruments and equipments for carrying our Flap surgeries, bone grafts are available in the department.

Special care is administered to patient undergoing orthodontics treatment, implant surgeries. Proposed fully equipped PG section has been established in the department.

Separate oral pathology department has been established in the institution with all the facilities of clinical pathology and histopathology laboratory, undergraduate laboratory and a proposed P.G. section.

Over 2000 educational slides, for histology & Histopathology and ample of pathology Specimen available for teaching.

Department has 30 Microscopes, including binocular trinocular and a research microscope with camera attachment. Microtome, Special stains, Incubators, centrifugal machines, charts, various equipments for staining procedures are available.

Department has a separate museum for dental anatomy, histology and oral pathology.

Department has no. of Chairs and necessary diagnostic instruments.

Radiology has provided 3 X – Ray Machine and O.P.G. Machine. Separate developing units has established for the department. Department is full fledged with provision of Instruments for all diagnostic processes.

Full fledged Dental Material Science lab is established for 60 Students capacity with granite top working tables, electrification and L.P.G. Gas provision per each table. The lab is well equipped with Dental Lathe, Model Trimmers, Acrylisers, De-waxing Units, and Hanging Motors, Micro motors.

All necessary latest Dental Material are available in the Department for manipulation and study.

500 sq. ft. Museum is established for the subject. For preclinical work. Preclinical Prosthodontics labs are established as per Dental Council of India norms.

Department has sufficient no. of Chairs and Units with all necessary instruments and equipment’s.

In addition to that department has ultrasonic scalar units for treatment and necessary instruments and equipment’s for Oral prophylaxis. Necessary periodontal surgical keys are available in the Department.

Internship Program of MUHS Nashik is carried out in the institution as per the guidelines laid down y MUHS, Nashik.

Department of Pedodontics has provided no. of Chairs and Units with all facilities required for modern Dental treatment for Child. Department has facility for extraction under general anesthesia and aesthetic treatment and fluoridation. Department is well equipped with modern sophisticated instruments and equipment’s.

College has provided chair mounted mobile Dental van with 16 seating Capacity for Dental Camps and Oral Health checkup and awareness in addition to that college has established City Dental Clinic in the name of Vishnuanna Dant Upchar Kendra at Panchmukhi Maruti Road, Sangli, to give service to poor patients in the corporation area. College is giving free Dental Consultation and treatment help to the patients in Siddhivinayak Cancer Hospital Miraj. And 6 Chairs at Government Medical College and Hospital, Miraj. For necessary Dental treatments. On an average 50 Dental camps per Year are conducted by the department in the Sangli district and surroundings.

The Department has got a beautiful museum in it’s 2000 sq.ft. hall to facilitate the teaching to the student as well as to give health education to the patients attending the OPD. This museum has been well admired by the dignitaries.

Separate oral pathology Department has established in the institution with all the facilities of staining biopsy and adequate no. of Histology as well as oral pathology slides for routine teaching program.

Department has no. Microscopes, binocular microscopes, incubators, centrifugal machines, staining kits, Charts, specimens, Department has a research microscope with camera. Department has a separate museum for Dental Anatomy, histology and oral pathology.

Physiology - Full-fledged Physiology lab with sitting capacity of 50 students at a time with all necessary instruments and equipment’s as per D.C.I. rules.

Biochemistry - Full fledge separate biochemistry lab including necessary instruments to perform practical classes as per syllabi laid down by MUHS NASHIK

Well equipped General & Dental Pharmacology lab has established and has a capacity of 60 students working at a time provided with all necessary instruments and equipment’s required for general and Dental Pharmacology practical prescribed by syllabi of MUHS, Nashik.

Lab has marble top tables with central basins and electrification.
